Iranshahr Hotel is among
the oldest and most experienced hotels in Iran which was founded in
1952 by the name of Lozan Hotel by the late Mr. HosseinAli Alborz
- the
founder of Alborz Cultural Institution. Later on he contributed the
hotel building together with 6 other buildings by the name of Alborz
Cultural Institution. All the proceeds of this institution were to be
spent on the development of culture and education in the country and granting
scholarships to distinguished and needy students. After the
revolution Mr. Alborz granted the accountability of the institution
to the late Imam Khomeini - the founder of the Islamic Republic who selected
3 members as the board of trustees and one as the managing director
that resulted in the restart of the hotel's activities. The hotel building
which is known as Building No.2 of Alborz Cultural Institution, restarted
working with new management following 2 years of reconstruction as a
Top 3 star hotel by the name of Iranshahr Hotel. Ever since, it has
been tastefully redecorated twice, the latter done just before the Islamic
Countries Summit Conference in Tehran.
It is noteworthy that
all the services provided in this hotel have always been in keeping
with the latest developments in the field and extensive facilities are
used to provide first class services to the honored guests.
Iranshahr Hotel is conveniently
situated in central Tehran, close to the bazaar, airport, bus terminals,
the railway network, tourist attractions and museums, ministries and
